Regional Program Manager – East Asia Pacific

About the role

The Regional Program Manager will lead Alive & Thrive’s East Asia Pacific portfolio, supporting governments and partners to improve maternal, infant and young child nutrition. Based in Ha Noi, the role combines operational oversight with technical program delivery across nine countries. The incumbent will ensure that projects are planned, implemented and reported in line with donor requirements and regional strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, implementation and monitoring for multi‑country nutrition initiatives.
• Manage partner engagement, ensuring alignment with national policies and program objectives.
• Handle financial management, donor compliance and regular reporting for all funded activities.
• Coordinate technical assistance to government agencies and regional bodies, including the ASEAN health cluster.
• Facilitate integration of operational excellence and technical execution across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑country development programmes in health or nutrition.
• Strong understanding of maternal, infant and young child nutrition policies and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies, NGOs and international donors.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with experience in donor compliance.
• Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
