About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated junior professional to support our senior trading specialist in the chemical trading business. The role starts as an assistant position, providing hands‑on exposure to all aspects of international chemical trade.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the senior specialist with day‑to‑day trading activities.
- Prepare and manage commercial documentation related to chemical imports and exports.
- Support import‑export procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Utilise Microsoft Office tools to organise data, reports and communications.
- Learn and gradually take on responsibilities in international chemical trading.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Business‑level English proficiency (Japanese is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Responsible, professional attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
