Senior Calibration Engineer – Automotive

About the role

Bosch is seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer to join its Automotive Domain team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will work on algorithm calibration, vehicle integration and crash data processing to ensure airbag systems meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and validate customer specifications and timing for algorithm, calibration and vehicle integration work packages.
• Analyse vehicle crash data from lab sensors and load it into the crash database for simulation.
• Calibrate algorithm parameters using Bosch internal tools to achieve airbag deployment performance compliant with CN‑NCAP, EU‑NCAP, ASEAN‑NCAP and other regulations.
• Ensure quality and compliance with the development process.
• Support project estimations, plan resources and control costs within budget.
• Report calibration results to customers and collaborate with regional stakeholders in China and Japan.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in the automotive industry.
• Basic experience with algorithm or software development.
• Strong knowledge of physics and vehicle dynamics.
• Good management skills in change, configuration, project and requirements management.
• Effective time‑management and logical thinking.
