Senior Data Engineering Specialist

About the role

FE CREDIT is looking for a Senior Data Engineering Specialist to join its Data Engineering Unit within the Business Intelligence Center. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data warehouse solutions that support the company’s financial services operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise high‑performance ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Maintain and enhance existing data mart and data warehouse applications.
• Produce clear documentation, provide production support, and troubleshoot data‑related issues.
• Collaborate with the Unit Head of Data Engineering to implement new data initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in data mart or data warehouse projects.
• Prior experience in the financial services sector is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL and IBM DataStage.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture and data mart concepts.
