Senior Embedded Software Developer – C/C++, AUTOSAR, Firmware

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer to design, develop and integrate software components and basic software stacks on production automotive ECUs. The role involves creating high‑quality C/C++ code, configuring AUTOSAR platforms and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as MISRA, ASPICE and OEM safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Classic AUTOSAR software components (SWCs), author ARXML files and configure the Runtime Environment (RTE).
• Integrate SWCs with Basic Software modules (e.g., DCM, DEM, NvM, SecOC, CSM) and generate the complete AUTOSAR BSW stack.
• Perform ECU integration, configure communication and diagnostic services, and manage configuration baselines.
• Write, debug and optimise embedded C/C++ code for real‑time, resource‑constrained ECUs.
• Conduct static analysis, code reviews and unit, integration and system testing.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, analysis and testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional development and test teams, ensuring traceability and quality gates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Classic AUTOSAR SWC development and ECU integration.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming.
