Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Sensor Signal Processing

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer specialized in Sensor Signal Processing (SSP) for automotive applications. The role is based in Ho Chi Minh City and will focus on developing and validating SSP functions such as ABS, ESP, iBooster, DPB and IPB.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and take ownership of assigned SSP functions.
• Derive, tailor and develop system, function and software requirements, including functional safety aspects.
• Create system/function design and detailed software requirement specifications.
• Allocate requirements to software components and support implementation activities.
• Define verification criteria and develop or adapt test specifications (system, VTC) based on system requirements.
• Perform requirement‑based verification, evaluate test results and resolve technical issues.
• Lead failsafe discussions and ensure technical alignment across global project teams.
• Support functional safety activities and guarantee compliance with project and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in automotive software development or a comparable domain.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software development processes and model‑based development methodologies.
• Good understanding of automotive software architecture and the software development lifecycle.
