Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate & Renewable Energy

About the role

VinEnergo, a member of Vingroup, is expanding its portfolio of large‑scale renewable energy projects in Vietnam. The company seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to provide high‑level legal support across corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with international standards and facilitating project development.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior management on corporate and commercial law issues related to renewable energy projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, joint‑venture agreements, and financing documents.
• Provide regulatory advisory services, monitoring changes in energy legislation and ensuring compliance.
• Support project development activities, including land acquisition, permits and licensing.
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders to manage legal risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.); a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or an overseas qualification is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm, multinational corporation, listed company, infrastructure developer or renewable‑energy firm.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters in a fast‑moving environment.
