Senior Process Engineer (Tool shop & Fine Blanking)

About the role

As a Senior Process Engineer in the Tool Shop & Fine Blanking area, you will lead the development, optimisation and sustainment of manufacturing processes for high‑tech belt assemblies. You will work closely with production teams, suppliers and the Bosch Production System (BPS) coordinator to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and sustain processes, including safety activities, hazard identification and compliance with safety regulations.
• Resolve daily process issues using systematic methods such as 8D problem solving.
• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and optimise process parameters.
• Demonstrate short‑term and long‑term process capability (Cmk, Cpk) and conduct capability analysis.
• Develop and implement FMEA, control plans and production standards; train operators on procedures and equipment.
• Control consumable costs, monitor inventory and prevent stockouts.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, A3 and other methodologies.
• Drive cross‑functional projects, set goals, measure results and release new machines, products and material suppliers.
• Provide technical expertise to production teams and collaborate with internal and supplier partners.

• Proven experience in process engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
