Software Engineer – Automation & SCM

About the role

As a Software Engineer in the Automation & SCM team, you will create and maintain the tooling that helps development teams work faster and more reliably. You will design, code, test and deploy reusable automation utilities, command‑line interfaces and scripts that eliminate repetitive tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums and reviews.
• Design, develop and maintain clean, well‑tested Python code for automation tools and scripts.
• Integrate automation solutions with external systems by consuming REST APIs.
• Build intuitive command‑line interfaces (CLIs) that provide a great user experience.
• Write comprehensive automated tests using Pytest to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to tooling, processes and documentation.
• Provide support for developers using the tools and maintain internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Experience working in Agile software development teams.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying and solving process inefficiencies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Creating command‑line interfaces (CLIs).
• Automated testing with Pytest.
• Version control and source‑code management (SCM).
