Test Engineer

About the role

The Test Engineer will design, develop and maintain test procedures, hardware and software used in the production of electronic circuit boards. Working under limited supervision, you will ensure testability of designs and support manufacturing teams in troubleshooting and improving test processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review circuit board designs to identify and define testability requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test procedures, fixtures and software.
• Perform failure analysis, debug test equipment and reduce intermittent failures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to minimise test downtime and improve yield.
• Document test results, generate reports and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical documents, standards and regulations.
• Strong written communication skills for reports, procedures and business correspondence.
