Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst

About the role

Flexport is looking for a driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its AR Operations department in Ho Chi Minh City. The role supports daily operations while setting high standards for customer service, manages sensitive external relationships and reports to the EMEA Accounts Receivable Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day collections, managing open receivables on assigned accounts by email and phone to drive DSO targets
• Execute workflows and monitor daily metrics on assigned accounts, handling moderately difficult accounts with independent judgement
• Partner with the Credit team to set payment schedules and collect funds on accounts in arrears
• Act as the main contact for key client Accounts Payable teams, facilitating cash collection and credit processes
• Resolve complex client issues, handle first-level escalations and field general AR/AP questions
• Work with Credit, Account Management, Sales, Disputes and Legal teams to resolve past-due accounts, and help the AR Manager improve SOPs and processes
• Support Finance and Accounting month-end close and ad-hoc projects

Required profile

• Native-level Vietnamese and fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Goal-oriented, proactive, with strong organisational, problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Direct experience in logistics or freight forwarding is a plus

• Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas
• Data interpretation and analysis to make recommendations
