Area Program Development Facilitator-2

About the role

The Area Program Development Facilitator-2 will work on the ground in Ba To, Vietnam, to strengthen community‑based initiatives that improve child well‑being. Reporting to senior program staff, you will coordinate partners, build local capacity, and ensure high‑quality implementation of World Vision’s development models.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate partnerships and networking among community groups, NGOs, government agencies and other stakeholders to mobilise resources for child‑focused development.
• Build capacity of local partners on development principles, technical models, guidelines and tools.
• Lead commune‑level planning activities, annual community reviews and disaster‑preparedness planning.
• Collaborate with Technical Program Officers to support technical implementation, supervise quality, and mainstream cross‑cutting themes such as gender equality, disability inclusion and disaster risk reduction.
• Manage procurement and strategic sourcing at the commune level, ensuring transparency and compliance with World Vision financial policies.
• Support shared monitoring, compile findings and assist with timely reporting to the regional office.
