Automotive Engineer – English & Japanese required, long‑term onsite in Japan

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking an experienced Technical Key Account Engineer to support automotive component projects for Japanese OEM customers. The position involves a long‑term onsite assignment in Japan (minimum 2.5 years) starting around March 2027, with family relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first‑level Technical Key Account for assigned automotive component projects.
• Serve as the main technical interface with Japanese OEMs, handling questions, requirements, and clarifications.
• Support execution of Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle projects, ensuring alignment with milestones and specifications.
• Assist in new project acquisition, preparing technical documentation and inputs for Japanese customers.
• Coordinate and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and manage engineering changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive component engineering or technical account management.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Willingness to relocate to Japan for at least 2.5 years.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams in Europe and Asia.
