Business Development Associate (Environmental/ Water & Wastewater Treatment)

About the role

The Business Development Associate will support WHA Group's environmental and water treatment business across several Vietnamese locations. The role focuses on aligning project activities with company policies, ISO standards and regulatory requirements while contributing to growth in the wastewater treatment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of policies, standards (e.g., ISO), guidelines and regulations under senior supervision.
• Assist in documenting and refining departmental processes, procedures and objectives to improve operational efficiency.
• Help monitor and manage assigned tasks, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on water and wastewater treatment plant design, operation and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including market analysis and client engagement.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (civil, environmental or related) with 2‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience in water or wastewater treatment plant design, operation or maintenance.
• Previous work with an international company or a locally owned firm with foreign shareholders is preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
