Deputy Manager – Sales, Surface Treatment & Coatings

About the role

BASF Coatings Vietnam is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead sales of the Surface Treatment business unit under the Chemetall® brand. You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth across the northern territories of Vietnam, acting as the single point of contact for both industry and automotive customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets.
• Negotiate and finalize business contracts with key customers and distribution partners.
• Coordinate product launches and provide technical training to customers and partners.
• Maintain sales pipelines, leads, and visit reports in the Salesforce CRM system.
• Forecast demand accurately to support stock planning and ensure reliable supply.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales within the chemicals or coatings industry.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Ability to identify market potential and translate customer needs into profitable opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
