Die Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Die Engineer to design, develop, maintain and continuously improve stamping dies and related tooling for our automotive production lines. You will work closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable tooling and optimized processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance stamping dies, tooling and fixtures.
• Maintain and repair existing dies to ensure production uptime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive tooling reliability and process optimisation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Provide technical support for die‑related issues on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Experience in die design, die maintenance or tooling engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of stamping dies, metal forming processes and tooling maintenance.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
