Embedded Firmware Engineer – Linux/QNX (Open to Freshers)

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City as an Embedded Firmware Engineer. You will work within the ETA Mobility Engineering Solutions team, designing and integrating real‑time applications on Linux and/or QNX platforms and contributing to MC‑Gateway development.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain embedded applications on Linux using CMake for cross‑platform builds.
• Develop and integrate communication protocols such as XCP.
• Handle JSON‑based configuration and data exchange.
• Develop inter‑process communication modules on POSIX (named pipes, shared memory) when required.
• Collaborate directly with German stakeholders and international teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 2–6 years of hands‑on experience in embedded application development on Linux, or a strong academic background with a passion for embedded systems (freshers welcome).
• Good English communication skills for interaction with international teams.

Required skills

• Embedded development on Linux (C/C++ preferred).
• Proficiency with CMake, including cross‑compilation environments.
• Experience with communication protocols, preferably XCP.
• Working knowledge of JSON for configuration and data exchange.
• Understanding of POSIX IPC mechanisms such as named pipes and shared memory.
• Familiarity with QNX is a plus.
• Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR is advantageous.
