Garment Merchandiser – Sample, Production, Fabric & Trim

About the role

The Garment Merchandiser will support the sales team by managing the entire sample lifecycle, from initial development to production-ready samples. You will act as the main liaison between buyers, internal departments, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of fabrics, trims, and finished samples.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up sample development from the first prototype to production sample.
• Collaborate directly with buyers on fabric, trim, pattern, and construction specifications.
• Coordinate with the import/export department to ship samples and receive fabrics/trims on schedule.
• Control pattern creation and cutting processes to meet buyer timelines.

Required profile

• College or university degree in Garment Technology, Fashion Business or a related field.
• 0‑10 years of experience in garment merchandising or sample development.
• Good command of spoken English.
• Proficient in standard office computer applications.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑6:00 pm (extended to 6:30 pm on Friday).
