HR Manager & Global Talent Development Coordinator

About the role

Animals Asia is seeking a qualified professional to lead both country‑wide HR operations in Vietnam and the implementation of global talent development programmes. This dual‑purpose position combines strategic HR management with the design and delivery of learning, leadership and cultural transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and roll out global Learning & Development programmes, including leadership pipelines and technical upskilling.
• Manage e‑learning platforms (LMS) and coordinate with external training providers.
• Drive organisational development projects such as cultural transformation, change management, performance appraisal systems and team health checks.
• Implement talent review, high‑potential development plans and succession planning.
• Track programme effectiveness through metrics like completion and promotion rates.
• Act as the primary HR contact and strategic advisor to the Country Director, overseeing a local HR team.
• Adapt and deploy global HR initiatives to meet local Vietnamese regulations and practices.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, manage performance appraisal processes and optimise HR workflows using technology.
• Lead recruitment, employer branding, remuneration policy and departmental budgeting.

Required profile

• Qualified candidate with experience in HR management and talent development.
