Junior Java Developer (1-3 years experience)

About the role

We are seeking three Junior Java Developers to join our software development team in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on building and maintaining Java‑based web applications and handling automotive diagnostic data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java web applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Create and manage automobile diagnostic data content, and develop or optimise database schemas and data models using SQL, XML and JSON.
• Collaborate with customers and overseas vendors, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Work with diagnostic protocols such as UDS, KWP, and DOIP.
• Utilise or contribute to standards and tools related to ODX (Open Diagnostic data eXchange) and OTX (Open Test sequence eXchange).

Required profile

• Strong foundation in system development, including design, implementation, and testing.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in diagnostic data creation, database/data modelling, or customer/vendor communication on IT projects.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work with diagnostic protocols and tools.
• Fluency in Japanese (native‑level speaking, listening, and writing) and a willingness to improve English communication skills.
