Logistics Material Flow Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Material Flow Specialist will oversee the end‑to‑end handling of materials required for manufacturing at VINFAST. Reporting to the Material Flow Shift Manager, the role ensures that receiving, storage, and delivery processes meet safety, quality, and cost targets while supporting overall production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Control material handling activities, including receipt, warehousing, and dispatch to production lines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely material availability.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve flow.
• Lead a team of material handlers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve material‑related issues.
• Track performance metrics and report on cost, responsiveness, and efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree (preferably in engineering, logistics or related field).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing or material handling, preferably in the automotive sector.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team of 50 + members.
• Proficient English communication skills.
