Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager leads production planning, scheduling, and demand forecasting to ensure that material, capacity and resource plans align with customer requirements and business goals. Working closely with operations, supply chain, sales and customer service, the role drives on‑time delivery while optimizing inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules and demand forecasts across multiple product lines.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement and logistics to align material availability with production plans.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to meet delivery targets.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate accurate planning data and reports.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, applying Lean principles to enhance planning efficiency.
• Provide regular performance metrics and insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production or demand planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
