Senior AI Data Engineer

About the role

EPOS Vietnam, the technical hub of EPOS Singapore (backed by Ant International), is looking for a Senior AI Data Engineer to design and build data pipelines and infrastructure that feed analytics, AI/ML and Generative AI applications. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines that ingest, process and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Architect and build scalable data infrastructure, including data lakes, data warehouses, pipelines and metadata repositories.
• Build and optimize data platforms supporting analytics, AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
• Build data pipelines for AI/GenAI use cases, including data preparation, document processing, embeddings and RAG workflows.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, consistency and performance across the data platform.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize pipelines and infrastructure for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, software engineers and other stakeholders to deliver data and AI products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Good or fluent English communication is mandatory.
• Nice to have: experience with AI agents and LLM applications.

Required skills

• Strong experience with data warehouses, data lakes and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Understanding of data modeling, data quality and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI pipelines, especially RAG, embeddings or vector search.
• Nice to have: AWS, GCP or Azure.
