Senior Manual QC Engineer

About the role

EPOS Vietnam, the technical hub of EPOS Singapore (backed by Ant International), is hiring a Senior Manual QC Engineer in Ho Chi Minh City. The engineer works on-site and implements testing activities for the company's POS and SaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the product and testing process to carry out all testing activities effectively
• Develop and maintain manual test plans, test cases and test scripts
• Execute test cases and report bugs and quality issues
• Prepare and review test documentation and communicate progress, results and quality risks internally
• Help development teams investigate issues, such as reproducing them
• Work with the business analyst and development teams to analyse requirements and understand client needs
• Handle other testing-related tasks assigned by the leader

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or a related field
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing for web, mobile applications and devices
• Experience writing test plans and test cases
• Upper-intermediate English is mandatory
• Good IT background, critical and logical thinking, strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Required skills

• Familiarity with at least one database and SQL scripts in MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle
• Manual software testing
