Senior Backend Developer (Java - Digital Banking)

About the role

A client in the technology and financial services space, focused on digital platforms for corporate customers, is looking for a Backend Developer in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. The role contributes to IT projects covering finance, banking and corporate financial management solutions integrated with banking systems, developing and deploying backend services for digital banking, CRM and corporate finance or treasury management platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services for finance, banking and corporate digital platforms using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, GraphQL services and WebSocket connections for system integration.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to meet application data needs.
• Apply microservice architecture and design principles for performance, fault tolerance and security.
• Apply unit testing to improve code quality and system reliability.
• Take part in deploying and launching at least one project in digital banking, CRM or corporate finance/treasury management.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer in finance, banking or corporate digital platform projects.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• At least 3 years of experience developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Experience deploying and going live with at least one relevant project as a Backend Developer.
