Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Automotive Technologies

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop embedded software for next‑generation automotive technologies. You will work on complex, global projects in a collaborative, English‑speaking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for automotive applications using C/C++.
• Work with microcontrollers, embedded operating systems, device drivers and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Analyze requirements, perform debugging, root‑cause analysis, optimization and software integration.
• Participate in architecture, design and code reviews and ensure software quality through testing and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in embedded software development for automotive or related domains.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical abilities and good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Embedded C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers, real‑time concepts, memory, interrupts and peripherals.
• Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), Embedded Linux, Yocto, RTOS, device drivers, low‑level software.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, diagnostics (UDS) and functional safety or cybersecurity standards.
• Use of debugging tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer, Lauterbach, JTAG.
