Site QC Engineer

About the role

The Site QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical components and installations on construction projects meet the required quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with project teams to verify compliance from material receipt through final installation.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and inspection requirements.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and submit detailed quality inspection reports.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment to confirm compliance with approved standards.
• Conduct quality inspections of fabricated items such as steel tanks, FRP tanks, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Monitor installation work at project sites to ensure adherence to approved procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Welding Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in site quality control or mechanical inspection.
• Solid knowledge of welding, fabrication, mechanical installation, and quality standards.
• Basic English proficiency for reading technical documents and preparing reports.
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to project needs.
