Sourcing Manager

About the role

As a Sourcing Manager you will shape the supplier network behind Specialized’s next‑generation bicycle products. Working closely with product management, engineering, quality and external suppliers, you will evaluate manufacturing capabilities, drive sourcing decisions and support the launch and scale‑up of new products.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and qualify manufacturing partners for carbon frames and composite components.
• Lead RFQ processes, analyse quotations and conduct cost‑benefit analyses.
• Negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier follow‑up to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional product development teams across Asia.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with product roadmaps.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record managing RFQs, cost analysis and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with Asia‑based manufacturers and cross‑functional product teams.
• Direct experience sourcing carbon frames, composite components or managing suppliers that use carbon materials.
