Technical Regulations Engineer – R&D

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Technical Regulations Engineer to join its Automotive R&D Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on analysing global legal regulations and translating them into technical requirements for vehicle safety, emissions, diagnostics and related automotive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse worldwide legal regulations and standards, documenting technical requirements in internal databases.
• Interpret automotive and non‑automotive product specifications to identify applicable regulations and conduct product evaluations.
• Apply country‑specific legal structures to research and document regulatory content.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to close gaps in processes and methods.
• Improve daily efficiency by using programming or coding to automate tasks and optimise workflows.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field with strong technical English skills.
• 1‑3 years of experience in product development or applied research; recent graduates with research experience are welcome.
• Analytical mindset, precision, good time management and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to take responsibility, initiative and adapt to new technologies.

Required skills

• Technical English – reading and writing.
• Programming/coding ability (any language).
