Bridge Hardware Engineer (Japanese/Chinese Speaking) – Entry Level

About the role

As a Bridge Hardware Engineer you will act as the technical liaison between Japanese or Chinese customers and Bosch’s software, mechanical and validation teams. You will support change‑management activities for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that product modifications are implemented safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and interpret customer requirements for ECU changes.
• Perform hardware design analysis and component‑level compatibility checks.
• Coordinate product‑level EMC and reliability testing.
• Work with the plant to provide production‑related support.
• Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and drive their implementation.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and other validation teams to validate changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in board‑level hardware design (open to fresh graduates with strong communication skills).
• Good analytical thinking, teamwork and project coordination abilities.
• Fluent in English and proficient in either Japanese or Chinese.
