R&D Coordinator – Instant Coffee

About the role

The R&D Coordinator will oversee the progress of new instant coffee development projects, manage incoming laboratory samples, review COA parameters and technical documents, and support formula development activities. The role ensures timelines and quality standards are met while coordinating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Track progress of new development projects and report status.
• Receive, log, and manage incoming lab samples.
• Review Certificate of Analysis (COA) parameters and related technical documentation.
• Support formula development and optimization activities.
• Ensure accurate management of samples, formulas, and technical documentation.
• Maintain COA and product specifications in compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate internally with other departments to support product launches and scale‑up from lab to production.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the reporting line.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Biotechnology.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an R&D Engineer in coffee, beverage or FMCG food industry.
• Practical experience in product development, formula optimization and factory trials.
• Experience with instant coffee, powder products or packaged foods is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English is a plus.
