Project Manager – Shipbuilding

About the role

Damen Song Cam Shipyard (DSCS) is a modern shipbuilding facility within the Damen Shipyards Group, delivering a wide range of vessels for international customers. The Project Manager will lead both standard and Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) projects, overseeing engineering, procurement, production, commissioning and delivery activities to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and control all phases of shipbuilding projects from concept to delivery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance and Commissioning.
• Manage project budgets, cost control measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, issues and decisions clearly to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain project momentum.

• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple departments.
