Senior Medical Representative – Oncology (Ho Chi Minh City)

About the role

The Senior Medical Representative – Oncology will identify customer needs, support demand‑generation activities and ensure the company is seen as delivering value and better health outcomes for healthcare professionals and patients. The role requires deep understanding of the territory dynamics, including managed care impact, competitor activity and patient demographics, to develop and execute a comprehensive business action plan.

Key responsibilities

• Meet required standards of company competencies and compliance practices.
• Maintain thorough product, disease, regulatory and policy knowledge in the Vietnamese pharmaceutical market.
• Develop and implement business action plans based on company and brand strategies, territory insights and market dynamics.
• Identify short‑ and long‑term business opportunities, set objectives and track KPI performance monthly.
• Collaborate with marketing, tender, medical and SFE teams to maximize resources and adjust activities as needed.
• Ensure accurate customer call records, compliance with company policies and timely reporting.

Required profile

• Pharmacist or Medical Doctor with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of customer and business strategy, and understanding of local healthcare and reimbursement systems.
• Experience in secondary‑care sales, therapeutic‑area expertise and key‑account management.
• Proven business acumen, planning and execution skills.
• Effective customer management including segmentation, targeting and engagement.
