Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join MiTek Vietnam’s finance team in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on day‑to‑day accounting operations, ERP transaction processing, and ensuring compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting entries and post accounts‑payable invoices using the ERP system.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT, foreign contractor tax (FCT) and other statutory tax filings.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience; experience in a Big 4 firm is a strong plus.
• Solid knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations (VAT, FCT).
• Proficiency in English (CEFR level B2 or higher) and ability to work independently within defined procedures.
