ADAS Vehicle Motion Engineer

About the role

The ADAS Vehicle Motion Engineer will design and maintain real‑time software that controls lateral and longitudinal vehicle motion for driver assistance and active safety systems. Working within Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City, you will translate customer requirements into robust automotive code and ensure its safe integration into ADAS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and decompose customer and system requirements for ADAS motion features.
• Design, implement and maintain C++ real‑time software for vehicle motion control.
• Collaborate with system, testing, calibration and project teams to resolve technical issues and meet delivery schedules.
• Develop and execute verification activities including unit tests, simulation‑based testing, SIL/HIL validation, debugging and defect analysis.
• Participate in code and design reviews, provide effort estimates and risk feedback for project planning.
• Ensure compliance with automotive development processes, coding standards, ASPICE and functional safety requirements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, sensors and driver‑assistance functions, especially lateral and longitudinal control.
• Proficiency in C++ development within an automotive context.
• Experience with software development life‑cycle, requirement engineering and debugging.
• Familiarity with automotive quality standards such as ASPICE and functional safety practices.
