AI/Agent Engineer (1-year contract)

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for AI/Agent Engineers to design and productionise advanced agentic systems. You will work in the Bosch Global Software Technologies team in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on building robust, scalable AI solutions that integrate planning, memory, tool use and multi‑agent delegation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect agentic systems, selecting appropriate abstractions beyond hype trends.
• Push model capabilities into production, handling prompt and context strategies, tool interfaces, retrieval, reranking, structured output, streaming and multimodal inputs (vision, documents, audio).
• Own the evaluation pipeline: create offline test sets, run LLM‑as‑judge loops, maintain regression harnesses and define user‑impact metrics.
• Optimize system performance through prompt caching, batching, speculative decoding, model routing, token‑budget management and latency targets.
• Contribute upstream by reading SDK source, opening pull requests to open‑source agent frameworks and filing precise bug reports.
• Mentor teammates via design reviews, code reviews and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
• Strong analytical mindset for building and evaluating complex AI systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of multimodal AI (vision, audio, document processing).
• Familiarity with evaluation techniques such as LLM‑as‑judge and regression testing.
• Understanding of system optimisation methods: caching, batching, speculative decoding, model routing, token‑budget management.
• Proficiency in reading and contributing to SDK codebases and open‑source agent frameworks.
