Area Program Development Facilitator – Tua Chua

About the role

World Vision is seeking an Area Program Development Facilitator to lead community‑based initiatives in the Tua Chua district of Vietnam. The role focuses on improving the well‑being of vulnerable children and their families through project management, partnership building, and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor technical projects such as community engagement, sponsorship integration, child participation and protection, and humanitarian emergency response within assigned communes.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, NGOs, and community stakeholders to promote sustainable outcomes for the most vulnerable children.
• Advocate for child‑focused development, ensuring inclusion of the most vulnerable children in all program activities.
• Report on project progress, risks and results to senior management and donors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, community development, social work or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in community development and program implementation, preferably with an international humanitarian organization.
• Full fluency in Vietnamese and intermediate proficiency in English.
• Valid motorbike driving licence.
• Strong understanding of child‑focused, community‑based development concepts.
