Automotive Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch's automotive software team in Ho Chi Minh City to develop embedded software for vehicle control units such as ABS, ESP, Airbag, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify and analyse requirements for automotive ECUs.
• Develop, integrate and unit‑test software modules in C.
• Design low‑level and high‑level software architecture.
• Estimate effort, plan tasks and perform software reviews.
• Debug, document results and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical colleagues.
• Coordinate integration, release and mentoring of junior team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical‑Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1+ years experience in embedded software development.
• Strong C programming skills and good English communication.
• Ability to estimate, plan and manage time with a commitment to delivery.

Required skills

• C programming language
• VBA, Python, C# scripting
• CAN protocol, AUTOSAR, Diagnostic knowledge
• CANalyzer/CANoe and CAPL programming
• Software unit, component and integration testing
• Experience with V‑Model or Agile development models
• Software review processes (formal and informal)
