Chemical Engineer – Production Team

About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to join its Production Team. You will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign tasks and supervise daily production activities.
• Maintain process compliance and stable operations throughout the plant.
• Control product quality and ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
• Monitor, train and periodically evaluate production personnel to develop skills and performance.
• Guarantee EHS compliance, proper use of personal protective equipment, and safe work practices.
• Accurately record production data and generate reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, preferably with a focus on inorganic, metallurgical or material science.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment performing similar duties.
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and 5S methodologies and their practical application.
• Proven skills in production planning, coordination, and problem‑solving.
