Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead the finance function of MJ Logistics, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and effective use of the FMS Logistics ERP system. This senior role reports to senior management and plays a key part in supporting the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee yearly tax finalisation, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Personal Income Tax (PIT) calculations and payment requests.
• Manage annual VAT refund processes covering the period from 1 January to 31 December.
• Coordinate audit and transfer pricing reports in collaboration with external auditors.
• Maintain and optimise the FMS Logistics ERP system for accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in logistics or similar industries.
• In‑depth knowledge of VAS and Vietnamese tax regulations.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software, specifically the FMS Logistics ERP system.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
