Concierge (Vietnamese Local)

About the role

Rixos, a Turkish luxury resort group established in 2000, is looking for a Vietnamese-speaking Concierge to join its team at its Phu Quoc resort. You will be the main point of contact for guests, making their stay memorable and hassle-free.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and give them a warm, professional first impression of the resort
• Inform guests about local attractions, activities and dining options in Phu Quoc and nearby areas
• Make reservations for restaurants, transport and guest activities
• Answer guest enquiries promptly and follow up on requests
• Keep up to date with upcoming events and local happenings
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
• Handle guest complaints with empathy and efficiency
• Manage the concierge desk, keeping it clean and organised, and help with luggage and other guest services
• Take part in team meetings and training, promote resort amenities when appropriate, and keep accurate records of guest interactions and preferences

Required profile

• Fluent spoken and written English; fluency in Vietnamese is highly desirable
• Previous concierge or front desk experience in a high-volume luxury hotel or resort
• Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Phu Quoc Island and its attractions
• Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays
• Well-groomed appearance and able to stand for long periods and lift luggage

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel management software
• Strong computer skills
• Customer service, problem-solving and attention to detail
