Data Engineering Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineering Intern to join Bosch R&D’s Automotive centre in Ho Chi Minh City. The intern will support the design, development and operation of data pipelines that feed analytics and AI solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Databricks or Hadoop ecosystem.
• Develop scalable, reusable frameworks for data ingestion and processing.
• Integrate end‑to‑end pipelines ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Work with event‑based, streaming and scheduling technologies to ingest and transform data.
• Write Python/PySpark scripts to meet data processing needs of engineering teams.
• Build dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for end‑user reporting.
• Evaluate tools for automated pipelines and contribute to low‑code applications (PowerApps, OutSystems).
• Support AI solution development by preparing data sets.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and problem solving.
• Basic experience with data pipeline design, Azure, Databricks or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently, proactive and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Python and PySpark programming.
• SQL and API usage.
• Azure Databricks, Hadoop ecosystem.
• Power BI and Tableau dashboarding.
• OpenShift or Virtual Machine environments.
• Low‑code platforms such as PowerApps or OutSystems (plus).
