Education Counsellor

About the role

The Education Counsellor will provide excellent counselling services to guide international students in finding the institution that best matches their learning and career aspirations, offering advice on study opportunities, local education systems, culture and geography, and supporting application documentation and enrolments.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and families about study opportunities.
• Provide information on institutions face‑to‑face or by phone.
• Follow up applications and keep students informed of offers or rejections.
• Assist students with entry‑visa applications.
• Update student applications in the IDP Global database and prepare reports.
• Organise and support promotional activities, exhibitions and seminars.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in service counselling or overseas study consulting.
• Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Demonstrated sales ability and capacity to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
