Embedded C++ Engineer (Household Appliances)

About the role

Join Bosch's Home Appliances software team in Ho Chi Minh City as an Embedded C++ Engineer. You will design and implement low‑level software that powers next‑generation household devices, working closely with a global, multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded basic software (BSW) and application software for household appliances.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, and validation.
• Analyse specifications, design architecture, and write bare‑metal C++ code.
• Create and run unit and functional tests, using frameworks such as Google Test.
• Perform code, design, and solution reviews.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members to raise overall competency.
• Prepare technical proposals and effort estimations for new projects.
• Engage directly with customers to discuss requirements and solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical‑Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bare‑metal embedded C++ development.
• Proficiency with UML, especially state‑diagram design.
• Experience with unit‑testing frameworks, preferably Google Test.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Solid understanding of embedded system concepts and typical software development workflows.
• Basic hardware awareness – able to measure simple components and read schematics.
• Good English communication skills.
