Embedded Test Engineer Intern (Matlab/Simulink)

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City as an Embedded Test Engineer Intern. You will work on Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SiL) and Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) testing for automotive software components, supporting the delivery of safety‑critical solutions for OEM partners in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Review and clarify software requirements and derive test cases for SiL/MiL testing.
• Design, implement, and execute test cases using Embedded C programming.
• Perform unit and component testing, including test case specification, execution, and documentation.
• Support peer‑review activities and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Investigate problem reports, conduct root‑cause analysis, and justify test deviations.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and contribute to test reports.
• Develop and maintain test automation tools to improve testing efficiency.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Electronics‑Telecommunication, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in automotive embedded software and testing methodologies.

Required skills

• Matlab/Simulink for model‑based development.
• Embedded C programming.
• Experience or coursework related to Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SiL) and Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) testing.
• Ability to develop or use test automation tools.
