General Manager - Vietnam

About the role

Breakmark is partnering with a major AI company expanding internationally and is looking for an entrepreneurial General Manager to launch and scale a country operation in Vietnam. The role leads the commercial strategy, builds a high-performing team and helps large enterprises move from AI experimentation to production-scale use. It is described as operating like a founder inside a fast-growing AI business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the country's commercial strategy, growth and P&L, and build the local business from the ground up
• Develop relationships with C-level executives in financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, utilities and other regulated sectors
• Lead complex enterprise sales cycles and negotiate multi-million-dollar commercial agreements
• Recruit, develop and lead a local team across commercial, technical and customer delivery functions
• Work with global product and engineering teams on deploying enterprise AI solutions in complex client environments
• Build partnerships with consulting firms, technology partners and ecosystem players
• Represent the business externally and ensure compliance with local regulations

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise software, AI, SaaS, technology, consulting or a similar fast-paced industry
• Proven track record of building and scaling commercial organisations and exceeding revenue targets; founder experience is a bonus
• Experience leading complex enterprise sales with C-suite executives
• Strong business acumen with full P&L ownership or significant commercial responsibility
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and a strong local enterprise network
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous but not essential
