HR Director – Vietnam

About the role

Wanek Furniture is seeking an accomplished HR Director for Vietnam to act as a strategic business and people leader for its large‑scale manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Senior HR Director and working closely with the General Director and Leadership Team, the role translates business priorities into a clear people strategy and leads the HR function across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a people strategy aligned with the company’s manufacturing objectives.
• Lead HR initiatives for a workforce of approximately 3,000 employees, ensuring consistency across sites.
• Partner with senior leadership to integrate HR insights into business planning.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
• Drive organizational change and continuous improvement in HR processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least five years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Proven success leading HR in a large‑scale manufacturing environment (3,000+ employees); multi‑site experience preferred.
• Strong track record of aligning HR strategy with business goals.
