Industrial AI Engineer Internship

About the role

Join Bosch's high‑tech manufacturing hub as an Industrial AI Engineer Intern. You will work on AI‑driven computer‑vision solutions and intelligent agents that automate production processes and improve quality inspection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI vision models for detection, classification, OCR and anomaly detection on the shop floor.
• Integrate cameras, industrial equipment and AI models into existing production lines.
• Design, implement and monitor AI agents that automate engineering and business workflows using LLMs, RAG and agent frameworks.
• Build REST APIs and backend services to expose AI functionality.
• Deploy models on edge devices, servers or cloud platforms and support MLOps/AgentOps practices.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th‑year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, Automation or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with an innovative mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team within a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Python programming
• OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• REST API development (FastAPI or Flask)
• SQL and relational databases
• Git and Docker
• Knowledge of ONNX deployment (optional)
• Familiarity with LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation and agentic AI concepts
