Molding-Process Senior Engineer

About the role

Nextern, a US‑based innovator of class II and III electro‑mechanical medical devices, is looking for a results‑oriented Molding‑Process Senior Engineer to join its Binh Duong facility. The role focuses on developing, optimizing and maintaining injection molding processes that support the production of high‑quality, patient‑centric medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve injection molding processes for medical device components.
• Analyze production data, identify root causes of defects, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure process compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead process validation, qualification and transfer activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on molding technology.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of hands‑on experience with injection molding in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to make timely, value‑added decisions.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to develop effective responses to technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
