Purchasing Quality & AI Engineer – Mobility Aftermarket

About the role

Join Bosch's Mobility Aftermarket Division as a Purchasing Quality & AI Engineer. You will drive automation across the automotive aftermarket while ensuring supplier quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead automation initiatives, converting manual procedures into end‑to‑end automated processes using advanced bot technologies.
• Integrate AI systems into existing IT environments and evaluate platforms, foundation models (AI agents, LLMs, ML, computer vision) for scaling automation.
• Design, process, and visualise data to build reporting systems, KPIs and automation solutions with Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Manage approval processes for new suppliers and products (PPAP, APQP) in line with automotive and internal standards.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and quality audits based on performance‑driven metrics.
• Develop and monitor strategic measures to improve supplier performance sustainably.
• Act as mentor and strategic partner for key suppliers, ensuring timely renewal and system‑wide update of certifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AI technologies, with a focus on deploying foundation models (e.g., GPT, Claude) via APIs.
• Strong data‑science background.
• Prior experience in the automotive, technical products or trade‑goods sector is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools and supplier quality processes.
